Listing & Marketplace Standards
1. Submitting an item
Your first submission is intentionally lightweight: your name and email, the item's name, category, condition, asking price, a description, your general collection area, required photographs of the actual item, and the relevant declarations (see §3). Depending on the category, Fylo may follow up to ask for more — for example, publisher/manufacturer, model, edition, language, completeness, missing parts, functionality evidence, serial or product numbers, provenance, additional photographs, or (if you'd like to provide one) a receipt.
2. What happens after you submit
Your submission is stored privately and is not automatically public. Fylo reviews it and may approve it, ask for more information, or decline it. An approved submission moves to an internal "under review" stage, is linked to your seller record, and is then completed and manually published by Fylo as an active listing. This review step is why there can be a delay between submitting and seeing your item live.
3. Declarations
When you submit, you'll be asked to confirm:
"I own this item or am authorised to sell it, and it is not prohibited on Fylo."
"The information and photos I've provided are accurate to the best of my knowledge, and I've disclosed any known faults, missing parts, or material wear."
"I agree to Fylo's Listing Standards and Terms of Use, and acknowledge the Privacy Policy."
Where relevant to the category: "This item is genuine to the best of my knowledge."
We keep a record of when you made these declarations and against which submission, as evidence that they were made.
4. Photographs
Photographs must show the actual item you're selling — not a manufacturer's stock photo or a photo of a different unit — including any visible wear or defects. We may request further photographs before publishing.
5. Honesty and accuracy
Answer every question completely and honestly. Don't conceal a known defect or issue that would matter to a buyer.
6. What Fylo may do with your listing
more information or photographs; pause, reject, or remove a listing; or re-review a published listing at any time, including in response to a report. We won't change the substance of a factual disclosure you've made without confirming the change with you.
7. Pricing and prohibited/misleading listings
Set your own price; we may query listings with unrealistic or misleading pricing. Don't list anything in our Prohibited Items Policy, and don't use misleading titles or categories.
